This semester the students in our Human Geography and  Government and Economics classes, as well as the students in our DCD program teamed up to advocate for and develop a recycling program at North High.

Last Week

Boys Basketball
The Polars lost to Wayzata, defeated Minneapolis Edison due to a forfeit and defeated Onalaska, Wisconsin in a non-conference game.  Their record is 18-4.

Girls Basketball
The Lady Polars lost to two powerhouse teams last week – Minneapolis Southwest and Legacy Christian Academy in overtime. Their record is 10-7.

Wrestling
The Polars competed at the Edison invitational.  They lost to Edison and won their first match of the season against Prairie Seeds Academy.

 

New Coach

Charles Walker has accepted the position of Head Track and Field Coach for North Community High School!  Charles is no stranger to North – previously serving as assistant coach for several years. He will officially begin his new role in late February!
