There are few records of the 1923-1924 Men’s Gymnastics team. Coach George Conklin team competed on the horizontal bar, flying rings, side horse, parallel bars and tumbling. The season began after the end of the football season.
In the first meet of the year, North fell to Roosevelt by three-tenths of a point. The loss gave the team confidence they would need later in the season.
At the Northwestern meet, held at the University of Minnesota, the Polars showed improvement. The team finished in fourth place. Twelve teams competed.
The final meet of the season was the conference championships held at the Central Y.M.C.A. The Polars, led by Israel Markowitz, won the conference title. Markowitz was the high point man of the meet.
