1924-1925 Men's Track Season

The 1924-1925 outdoor track season was disappointing.  Despite the number of students interested, the team won no track meets. 

 

The first meet of the season was the Hamline Relays.  North’s half-mile and two mile teams finished in fourth place, the best finished of the day for the Polars.

 

The team then moved to the Carleton meet.  Clifford

Guptil finished second in both the 100 yard dash and the 220 yard hurdles.  The Half-mile relay team again finished fourth.  The team finished fourth with 13 points

 

The following meet was the City meet.  Four records were broken, but none by Polar athletes. 

 

The last meet of the season was the State meet.  The Polars finished in sixth place with 14 points.
