North captured their third consecutive golf championship in the Spring of 1926. The team was undefeated through the season, which extended their winning streak to 17 matches.
In the Fall season, the Polars continued their winning streak with reached 20 games. Edison finally defeated the Polars 340-343. The winner of the match was decided on the final hole. When the season ended, North and Edison were tied for the conference lead. A playoff was arranged. Edison again won, ending North’s three consecutive championship seasons.
