1926-1927 Men's Gymnastics Season

The 1926-1927 gymnastics team had a very successful season.  George Conklin, beginning his fourth season as Polar head coach, had confidence his team would have a successful season.

 

The Polars won the conference championship at the city meet.  North amassed 2127.50 points.  They were followed by Roosevelt-2109.64 and Edison-2098.50.

 

Roosevelt earned a bit of revenge winning the Northwestern Gymnastics Society meet.  The Polard finished third.

 

Richard Harris was the most outstanding performer of the season.  He took the highest honors in the city meet and led the team at most of the other meets.
