1926-1927 Men's Tennis Season

North won both the 1926 Spring and Fall championships in tennis. Mr. Winworth Williams replaced Chester Saxby as the head coach.

During the Spring season, the Polars mowed through their opponents losing only one match.  That one match however, forced a playoff with West, who also only lost one match.  North defeated West 3-2 in what spectators called the best played match of the season.

In the Fall, The Polars started with South, winning 5-0.  The continued winning defeating Central 4-1, West, Washburn, Edison, Marhsall, 2-0, and finally Roosevelt, 4-0.

Samuel Berman was undefeated through the season, playing both singles and doubles.  Nathan Lifson did almost as well as Berman, losing only one match during the season
