Defense was the name of the game in basketball.

The 1957-1958 women’s athletic consisted of ten activities: Basketball, swimming, tennis, golf, apparatus and exercise, soccer, volleyball, badminton ice skating and modern dance.

 Three teachers, Miss Locks, Miss Knutson and Miss Josephson supervised the activities of the ladies.
