1957-1958 Men's Track

The 1957-1958 track season, under the direction of Louis Burnett, consisted on one indoor meet, conference relay meet, conference championship meet, three triangular meets and one dual meet.

 The Twin City Indoor meet had teams from Minneapolis and Saint Paul.  Central won the meet with 41.6 points.  The remainder of the schools finished in the following order: Southwest (34), Saint Paul Central (22.1), Washburn (14.1), Roosevelt (14), Edison (11.5), South (11), Marshall (5.2), Henry (5), North (4), Saint Paul Mechanics (4), Vocational (3.6), Saint Paul Wilson (3.5), Saint Paul Monroe (3), West (2.6).

 North

participated in a triangular meet against Roosevelt and Washburn.  North finished in third place.  The point totals were Roosevelt (53.9), Washburn (53.6) and North (42.5).

 Another triangular pitted North against Marshall and Vocational.  North won with 66 points, followed by Marshall, 48 and Vocational, 35.

 The third triangular was against Edison and South.  North again was victorious with 73 points, South was second with 60 and Edison was third with 54.

sole dual meet was against Henry.  North won 76.5-41.5.

 Central was the winner at the Conference Relay meet.  The scores were: Central (69.75), Southwest (60.75), Washburn (40.5), Roosevelt (32.5), South (28.25), Edison (26.25), Marshall (19.25), North (14), West (9.5), Henry (9), and Vocational (4.5).

 The Conference Championship meet gave the championship to Central.  The scores were Central (61), Southwest (43), Washburn (21), South (18.5), Roosevelt (17), Edison, (16), Marshall (14), North (6), Henry (6), West (5.5), Vocational (2).
