The 1958-1959 Men’s gymnastics team was as close to

perfect as any team could be.  The team won their 8th consecutive conference championship.  They also won the Northwest title and Regional title.  The team was never defeated in dual meets.  The “C” and “D” classes were undefeated.  The team won the State title in Class C, Class D and All Around catagories.

The region results for Class D were as follows: North (85.5), Roosevelt (15), Henry (4), Marshall (0.5), Edison (0), Robbinsdale (0), South (0), University (0), and Wilmar (0).

 

The region results for Class C were as follows: North (65.5), Roosevelt (19.25), Edison (13.5), Henry (4), Marshall (2), Robbinsdale (0), South (0), University (0), and Wilmar (0).
