Men's Swimming
Men's Swimming began at North during the 1924-1925 school year.  Swimming became a Minnesota State High School League sponsored activity the year before.  During the early years at North, swimming had many participants.

North won three conference championships in swimming, finishing first in the 1947-1948, 1948-1949 and 1945-1947 seasons.  North has never won a team state title.

Four students, Mike Fern (class of 1966), Peter Magyar (class of 1965), Richard Sieloff (class of 1965), and Fred Wells (class of 1965) participated in the state swimming meet during the 1963-1964 season.

Due to lack of swimmers North is currently part of the Mineapolis Maurauders-a combined team of the students from North, Henry, Edison and Roosevelt.  The team is sometimes also referred to as "HREN."
