Welcome to my site, I am the new Digital Media instructor at North High. My goal for the year is to begin to bring back the past grandeur of the Polar Producers at North High. I intend to not only restore but also extend the program. As technology continues to interconnect different types of media, what is meant my digital media production now merges the genres of video, audio and graphics in the increasingly dynamic context of the internet. The proud history of the Polar Producers began as a video production magnet program in the 1970s. It's future will be as a diversified Multi Media Studio as always managed by the innovative and resourceful students at North High School.
Past Accomplishments:
Older students and alumni will remember me in a number of different roles at North High School. Last Year I taught Chemistry.
Prior to that I founded and coached the Polar Robotics Team # 2479, an award winning FIRST Robotics
I also began a PLTW (Project Lead The Way) BioMedical Science program at North High in 2008.
Prior to that I taught Biology and Science Foundations while running an after school computer building and repair program, outfitting computer labs at North High and donating rebuilt and upgraded computers to the community.
My history at North High began in 2000 and I will always be proud to be a polar!
I welcome students, families, community members and especially my former students to visit the new Polar Producers online and in person.
