North is partnering with the Institute for Student Achievement (ISA), a national consulting organization that works with schools and districts to transform public high schools using a research based educational framework that has been proven to greatly improve student achievement. North has adopted the ISA Guiding Principles, which include: College Preparation; Distributed Counseling™; Continuous Professional Development for staff; Extended Learning Opportunities for students; Parent Involvement; and Continuous Organizational Improvement.

North students benefit from a dedicated team of teachers and counselors that provide them with academic, emotional and social support. Faculty and administrators benefit from on-going coaching and professional development. These principals will be infused into North’s arts and communications focus.

The results of ISA schools are impressive. Often in the most challenging areas where graduation rates have been as low as 35% — ISA partner schools have graduated as many as 90% of their seniors with nearly 90% of those graduates going on to college.
