Athletic Announcements - Week of April 17, 2017

Last Week                                                                                                          


The Polars’ defeated Minneapolis Roosevelt and lost to Minneapolis Patrick Henry and Minneapolis Southwest  The match against Community of Peace High School was rescheduled – date to be determined. 



The Polars lost to St. Paul Humboldt.  Their game against Minneapolis Washburn was cancelled due to rain.



The Polars game against St. Paul Washington Tech was rescheduled to April 17.


Track and Field
The Polar Girls and Boys teams competed at Minneapolis Roosevelt.



This week



Adaptive Bowling

The team bowls at Park Tavern in St. Louis Park Thursday at 1:00pm.



The Polars’ compete on Tuesday, hosting Minneapolis Edison. The match this starts at 4:00pm.



The Polars travel to St. Agnes High School on Monday, April 17 and Irondale on Friday April 21.  Both games start at 4:30pm.



The Polars host their first game this season on Monday, April 17 against St. Paul Washington Tech at North Commons Field # 3.  The also play St. Paul Humboldt at home on Wednesday, April 19.  Both games start approximately at 4:30pm. On Friday the Polar girls play host to Cristo Rey High School starting at 5:00pm. Polar fastpitch games are played on the synthetic field at Morgan and 16th Avenue North. The field was built by the Minnesota Twins and Owners, the Pohlad Family.


Track and Field
The Polar Track team hosts the City Middle school meet at Hobbs Field on Friday April 21. Our Studetn athletes will serve as officials and meet assistance


B-Squad Games (7-8th grade teams)

North (Anwatin/Franklin) baseball and softball games are scheduled to be played at the same location and time.


Monday April 17 – (Baseball only) North/Anwatin vs. Miller Blue (Ramsey) @ 5pm at Brackett Park.

Wednesday, April 19 – (Softball only) versus Tommie Blue (Marcy) @ 5pm at Brackett Park

Thursday, April 20 – versus Miller Royal (Barton) @ 5pm at Folwell Park
