The defending Class A Champions defeated Minneapolis Edison. The boy’s record is now 24-1 winning 24 games in a row. The team clinched the Minneapolis Conference title for the 4th season in a row. Congratulations Polars!
Post Season Honors: Polars who made the All-Conference Team are: Isaac Johnson, JaQuan Sanders-Smith, Taylor Johnson and Odell Wilson. Johnson and Wilson were selected four consecutive years.

The Polar girls lost to DeLaSalle. The Polars ended the season with a record of 16-9.
Congratulations also to the Junior Varsity girl's basketball team that won the Twin Cities Championship this past Saturday defeating St. Paul Central 64-58. They are now back to back Twin Cities Junior Varsity Champions (they defeated St. Paul Como Park last year as well).

The Polars competed in the 4A individual Sectional meet at Kimball High School.

The Polars travel to Hopkins today February 28, for their last regular season game.
The Polars will host the Twin Cities games on Saturday March 4 at Jacobi Gym. Three games are played starting at 12:00pm. In the B-squad game Minneapolis Patrick Henry plays St. Paul Humboldt. At 1:30pm the Junior Varsity competes against St. Paul Central. At 3:00pm the Varsity State Class A Champions also face St. Paul Central in a rematch of the game last year.
The Lady Polars host their first sectional game against Hope Academy on Thursday, March 2. This is a Varsity game only with the Tipoff at 7:00pm. If the Polars win they will host again on Saturday, March 4 at Jacobi gym for another 7:00pm game against an opponent to be determined later.
The Polars have ended their 2016-17 season. A banquet date is scheduled soon.

Minneapolis North hosted the lower level boys basketball tournament Saturday, February 25 ending the season.
