The Class A defending champions compete in the 4A sectional semifinals against Cristo
Rey on Tuesday, March 14. The game is the second of two games at Anoka Ramsey Community College with a tip off at 8:30pm. The first semifinal game features Heritage Academy versus Prairie Seeds Academy scheduled at 5:30pm.
The Adaptive Bowling Team is coached by Amy McIntyre. All practices and games are on Thursdays. The team bowls at Park Tavern in St. Louis Park during the day.
Head Coach Ashley Firouzi starts her third season leading the Polar girls. The team’s first match is March 21 against Minneapolis Washburn.
Head Coach Charles Simmons leads the baseball team starting March 20. The team also competes primarily at the Junior Varsity and B Squad levels.
Darryl Chrisp leads the resurgence of girls softball at North! The team starts practice on Monday, March 13 and will compete this year at the Junior Varsity level. There also is a B Squad team coached by Joe Brown that competes at the middle school district level.
Track and Field
Second year head coach Charles Walker starts the Polars season on March 13.
Grand Opening of the new North High School Fitness Center!
We are pleased to announce the showing or our new fitness center – made possible by the generous appropriation by the Hennepin County Youth Sports Facility Grant and Minneapolis Public Schools.
Among the guests are Hennepin County Commissioner Linda Higgins and MPS Superintendent Ed Graff.
Program will begin at 1:00pm. Enter door #2 on the north side of the west wing of the school off of Knox Avenue North.
