Last Week
The Polars Junior Varsity defeated St. Anthony Village 22-0 for their first win of the year.
The 1A State Champion Polars increased their record to 3-0 defeating St. Paul Harding 56-8.
The Polars were very active last week winning their first match 3-0 against Minnesota Transitions HS. They lost to Minneapolis Edison 0-3. 
In the Columbia Heights Tournament, the team defeated St. Paul Humboldt 2-0, tied Calvin Christian HS 1-1 and lost to Community of Peace HS 0-2.

Minneapolis Public Schools 2017-2018 Athletic Passes are on sale.  Ten (10) student passes sell for $25 dollars (a $15 discount).  Adult passes sell for $40 – a $20 discount.
With their athletes’ participation fee payment, parents receive six (6) free passes to North Polars athletic events.
On Tuesday, September 18, Minneapolis North Community High School will collaborate with the Minnesota Vikings and Medtronic Corporation to celebrate the “Fitness Zone” community program initiative.  We have received additional funding to enhance our fitness center and support the value of fitness and physical activity. Among the guests include District Superintendent Ed Graf, Minnesota Viking players and donor representatives.  A brief program begins at 3:30pm followed by physical activity led by the Vikings.
The Polars Junior Varsity plays it’s first home game against St. Paul Harding. The kickoff is at 4:00pm
The Varsity team plays another home game at Hobbs Field against Breck School on Friday September 22.  Kickoff is at 4:30pm. The Polars are 3-0.
The Polars are at home game against Minneapolis Patrick Henry on Tuesday, September 19 at Jacobi Gymnasium.  The Junior Varsity and Sophomore matches start at 5:30pm followed by the Varsity match at 7:00pm.
