The Winter 2013 Community Education Program at North High will start January 14 located in the Youth Cafe and will include courses such as:
Stage Management: Learn basic vocabulary and practice of theater stage management. Activities include improving NHS stage's capacityto house live performances, conferences, guest speakers, and film screenings. Mondays and Wednesdays
Chess Club: Learn the strategies of the chess game! Practice for beginners, intermediate levels, and advance. Mondays and Thursdays
Everyday Leaders Club: Leadership, service, and volunteer opportunities for students who are interested in building their organized communications, planning, and decision-makiong skills and be part of their community. Mondays and Thursdays
Hip Hop Dance: Explore Hip Hop music by learning about the four areas; Rapping, DJing, Hip Hop Dance, and Graffiti. Youth will participate in school and community performances. Tuesdays and Thursdays
Polar Princess Sister Circle: We talk. . . we care. . . we listen. . . we forgive. . . we share dreams, hopes, and fears. The best is. . . we help each other be our BEST! Tuesdays
