The EJ Henderson Youth Foundation is very proud to announce its partnership with Minneapolis Public Schools with its new location in North High School.  Founded in June of 2007 by Vikings linebacker, EJ Henderson, the Foundation uses a three-prong approach of life skills, athletic training, and academics to assist urban youth in becoming successful students, developing character, and planning for their future.

Beginning in May, the program will operate after school Monday through Friday and is open to all youth (boys and girls) in grades 9 through 12.   A summer program is also being planned.  Students will spend their time participating in life skills lessons that incorporate current events and decision making, participating in athletic training and nutrition lessons and improving their academic performance by working with an online academic training program or tutors.

Interested students must complete a program application form which is available in the Career and College Center at North High School.  The completed applications also may be turned in at this location.
