I have lived most of my life in the Minneapolis area.  I am a proud graduate of Minneapolis Public Schools and am a part of the Washburn HS class of 1974.  I am married and have 1 daughter in college.  When I am not teaching I enjoy fishing, golfing, cooking, traveling and reading.  The most rewarding times for me are when students finally have that light bulb come on and they understand a concept they have been struggling with.

Finally, some words from Albert Einstein.  I find them to be inspirational and something to remember as we work and learn together.
·         "Not everything that counts can be counted; and not everything that can be counted counts."
·         "Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new."
·        "A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be."
·         "It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer."
