North High has many dedicated, talented and experienced educators and staff that serve the young people of the Northside community. We invite parents to get to know them. Each year new ones join the Polar Family and others return. In this section get to know some of our newest members and be re-aquainted with those who've been here for awhile. As always, we welcome parents and families to come to the school and meet teachers and staff in person during evening events or at scheduled times during the day.

See "Our Polar Family"  below to read about the new addition to North's Administrative team - Steve White.

Our Polar Family

Assistant Principal Steve White is excited to be new to North High this year. He says,

"I began teaching in 1995 as a 9th grade science teacher at Robbinsdale Armstrong.  In 1999, I left Armstrong to teach 11th grade chemistry at St. Cloud Tech while I was training for the US Olympic Trials in pole vault.  I returned to Armstrong in 2002 to teach physics and Advanced Placement physics.  For the last five years, I have served as the Robbinsdale Teaching & Learning / Curriculum Specialist for 6-12 Math Science and STEM.

Now, I am honored to begin my 23rd year in education serving students, teachers and the community as North’s Assistant Principal.  It is my goal to help build on North’s rich history and recent successes such that each and every student graduates, fully prepared to succeed in life, college, and career.

My wife Caroline and I have been married for 16 years.  We have two children; Henry (10) and Emmitt (8)."
