North Academy of Arts and Communications
I am from South Hamilton, Massachusetts, which is about 30 minutes north of Boston. I moved to Minnesota to go to Bethel University for college. After graduating from there, I enrolled in the Twin Cities Teacher Collaborative (TC2) Urban STEM Teacher Residency Program. I have taught at North Acadmeny of Arts and Communication since 2013!
I am beyond excited to teach chemistry at NAAC this year. Science is a difficult but very rewarding subject- and it can be fun! I did not enjoy science class that much until I had the right teachers in high school that showed me how interesting and useful it can be. I hope to do the same for my students!
Besides science, I love to cook, garden, fish (and other water related things), and about anything that involves trying something new! Since I’m from Boston, Boston sports teams are my number 1, but I will cheer for Minnesota as my number 2 team.
