Your attitude will determine your success!
Hello! I have been a teacher in Minneapolis since 2001. I have worked at both North and Edison High Schools. I have taught biology, environmental science, and EMR Anatomy and Physiology. I am a life long science learner and have taken an interest in field studies since beginning my teaching. I have spent time in Nicaragua for rainforest ecology and primate behavior research, the badlands of the U.S. for dinosaur paleontology digs, and in our state of MN for many kinds of field biology and geology work. I traveled to Africa in the summer of 2012 to study the black rhino conservation programs. I graduated in 1999 from Winona State University with a BS in Biology and Hamline University in 2004 with a Master's degree in Education. My teaching philosophy is based on inquiry based instruction and learning. I believe that asking questions, investigating them and finding your solutions helps every one become a life long learner in any discipline.
