Polar Parents

The Polar Parent Organization was founded at the beginning of the 2014/15 school year by Joleen Hopkins to ensure our North High students have a world class high school experience. The organization has quickly gained traction among the North High parents and we now have a team of officers. Carlita Hanson Co-Chairs alongside Joleen, while Cynthia Wilson and Jessica Blashka serve as Secretary and Co-Secretary.

Parent Education Meetings

North High Parents are invited to attend monthly meetings that each will include an educational component. These meetings will provide parents with useful information and/or training in areas that will assist in  their support of their child's education. Meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month. (the exception being April when the first Thursday falls during spring break). The educational component will vary from month to month but the agenda will follow the format below:

5:00-5:30 - Edcuation/Information Session

5:30-5:45 - What is happening at North

5:45-6:00 - Parents can raise any concerns/ issues and questions*

* Please know that anything raised during this portion of the meeting WILL be addressed. It will be presented to the School's site council for consideration and then a response will be given in as timely a manner as possible.
