Social Emotional Learning Conference at North High

On Friday, North High students attended a variety of Social Emotional Learning workshops led by community experts.  Classes ranged from Trap Yoga, Posititive Psychology, Cooking, and Healthy Relationships.  

Junior Anamaria Hernandez Rodriguez shared her experience.  "I attended 'What I Wish I Knew About High School' by Benney Roberts.  I loved this class.  I learned to believe in myslef and not to be afraid of trying new things".

Thank you to all the presenters at the 1st Annual Social Emotional Learning Conference.  Also thank you to the parents and volunteers who made the day a success.  Finally thank you to Ms. Nafeeesah Muhammad who recognized the need,envisioned this day, and worked tirelessly with Mr. Justin Goldstein and Ms. Crystal Flint to make this day happen.

The SES conference was a wonderful day for students, teachers, parents, and volunteers to share in our learning!
