The 1911-1913 Track season began with a new coach, Earl R. Jackson, who also coaches football. The first events began with the indoor season, where the Polars won every meet in which they entered.  The team then worked out at North Commons Park until the weather allowed them to practice

at North.

The first meet was against West.  North more than doubled West's score on their way to victory.  The next meet was in Faribault, participating in the Shattuck Invitational.  North scored points in only the distance races run by Carlton Farnham and Max Meshbesher.

North then entered the Northwestern Meet held at Northrup Field.  Ironically, the same

teams that competed at Shattuck competed here.  This time only Farnham scored points.  He won first place in the half mile run and was rewarded with at gold watch.

The last meet of the season was the annual Minneapolis Conference Meet.  North finished in fourth place, two points out of second place.  Leslie DeLapp, Kenneth Stone, Harlie Carrier, Mr. Griffin, Mr. Landy, Mr. Gerdes and Farnham all placed at the meet. (The first names of Griffin, Landy and Gerdes were not listed in the 1913 yearbook.)
