1923-1924 Men's Tennis Season
Louis Goldstein, Coach Chester L. Saxby, Howard Dixon, Russell Lifchitz

Coach Chester Saxby began the season with two veterans among the four players.  Coach Saxby did a wonderful job melding the quartet into championship caliber team.

The team opened the season with a loss to West.  However, Russel Lifchitz, Louis Goldstein, Howard Dixon and Milton Nathanson would not let one loss ruin the season.  The quartet mowed through rest of the competition and at season’s end, held a tie for the conference championship with Central.  An extra match was played to determine the undisputed championship.  Central won and North finished the season in second place.
