1956-1957 Baseball Season

The 1956-1957 baseball season began with much youth.  The team was loaded with juniors, most playing key positions. 

 The team finished in second place with at 5-3 record.

The Polars defeated Henry once (5-4), Marshall twice (5-4 and 6-3) and Vocational twice (3-0 and 7-5).  The losses were to Edison twice (14-10 and 3-2) and Henry once (7-5).

 The sophomore team ended with at 7-1 record, tied with Henry for first place in the Northern Division.

 After the season, head coach George Sullivan decided to resign. Sullivan coached the Polars for three seasons.
