Thanks to the hard work and contributions of many North students have a beautiful new library space with access to information that can support and inspire them.

The district recently purchased all new shelving and created a new floor plan for the library. The shelves are brighter, more easily accessible, and some are even moveable to create different spaces.  The new arrangement allows more study space and a fresh, updated look. Students overwhelmingly approve of the improvements!

The Library also received a generous gift from a community member to purchase books.  Thanks to a gift from Caroline Amplatz, the library purchased almost 2000 new books, updating our science & technology sections, health and wellness, graphic novels, history, current issues, poetry and fiction.  Over half of the books have already arrived and the rest will be coming soon.

Students, families, and community members are invited to celebrate the new space with us on Wed, April 24. The event will include:

3:15: Ribbon Cutting for students

3:30- 5:00: Open Mic and performance with community artist BdotCroc

6:00: Ribbon Cutting with families as part of the evening parent meeting

All are welcome for any part of this celebration. Light snacks will be served!
