Thanks to a grant, North High has a new hydration station and a FREE water bottle for every student who completes an educational lesson about water.

The Minneapolis Health Department Initiative, ReThink Your Drink, awarded North High a grant providing a hydration station and money to purchase water bottles for students.  The hydration station was installed this fall and provides chilled and filtered water for students and staff. NorthPoint Health and Wellness also contributed funds so we could purchase additional water bottles.  Finally Gear Up provided water bottles for 10th and 11th graders.

With the help of all these partners we were able to have a water bottle for EVERY North High student who completes an educational lesson.  In the lesson, students learn about the health benefits of being hydrated and also the negative impact of excessive sugar in sugary drinks.

Thanks to ReThink Your Drink, Northpoint Health and Wellness, and Gear UP, North High students are hydrated and ready to learn!
